What a lovely spot and well maintained cabin with everything you need ! It was a perfect get away for us to relax and rest. From the moment you arrive and look at the view of the cabin with the pond in the background you will realize you have found your piece of paradise. The cabin and property are impeccably maintained and the love of this property by the owners is clearly visible. Although it is described as "rustic" on the website you will find that it has everything you need and is clean, clean, clean! Enjoy the sunset and your dinner from the table on the beautiful deck overlooking the pond, which is also equipped with a large gas grill. Or pack a picnic and bottle of wine and take the rowboat out with your fishing poles and enjoy the sunset. Kayaks are also there for your enjoyment. You can fish from the dock right on the water and enjoy the sunset there while you watch the incredible shimmer that crosses the water at sunset. Rainy days won't keep you from enjoying your stay as there is a beautiful enclosed porch with slider windows and a game table and a wonderful day bed for a relaxing nap. Anytime of the year is a perfect time to visit as each season has beautiful scenery and many things to do. Hiking is close by, shopping, and a cute Tavern nearby for a night out if desired. A small general store is just down the street and they seem to have just about any last minute items you may have forgotten to pack. The beautiful fireplace in the living room is perfect in the Fall weather and the firewood is supplied for you. We first visited Leeway in 2000 with 3 young boys and the memories have brought us back on many occasions. Now our boys are grown and we recently returned with one of them and his wife. Each time we arrive, our minds clear and our troubles are left behind for the time that we are there. It's always hard to leave the cabin at the end of our stay there, but we always look forward to another visit. Tori and Tom are incredible hosts and are available to make sure all is well with your stay, but they are never intrusive and you will only know they are there if by chance you find you need something. ***** 5 + Stars for sure!

This will be our 4th time, in 3 years, staying at Benton Cove Cabins. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, this is it! The cabin provides all the necessities while the pond provides tons of fish, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming! We haven't caught "the big one" yet, but we'll keep trying. 😏
These photos were taken a year apart. It was just as beautiful the second time! We highly recommend visiting Benton Cove Cabins.

This is my favorite vacation spot ever and I’ve been staying in the cabin with my family since 1995. Tori and Tom have always been wonderful, receptive and extremely responsive owners. The cabin is very comfortable, updated and has everything you will need for your stay. The cabin has an indoor porch with wraparound windows and an outdoor deck where you can enjoy any meal and watch the sunset. It sits right on the private lake where I have not seen or heard any gas powered motor craft. It’s on a private road and is very quiet. I always enjoy sitting on the dock for hours and hours relaxing, reading and swimming in the lake. There is also access to a row boat, paddle board, canoe and kayaks. There is a country store, a little less than a mile away with just about one of anything you need in stock. The location is about 15 minutes from Jacobs Pillow the modern dance center and 25 minutes to the town of Great Barrington where there are wonderful markets and restaurants. I could go on and on about what the Berkshire’s has to offer. It’s perfect for a romantic quiet getaway for a couple, or a lakeside vacation for a family of four and even more. Make sure you bring everything for s'mores you can make in the wood burning fireplace. This is a special place to stay and I highly recommend it!

Was lucky to find this hidden gem 8 years ago. Perfect vacation spot for a re -charge. Quiet pond without all the speedboat and jet ski traffic. Kayak, rowboat, or canoe around the good sized pond without the worry of being swamped by someone's wake. Dive right off your dock into the clean water or float around without a worry. Cabin is clean and well stocked on a quiet dead end road. The sunsets from the back deck are the best I've seen. Walking, hiking and exploring are right out the front door. This rental has everything I need and I will keep coming back as long as I can.
